Prepaid Credit Card

Does anyone have one? If so can you recommend one.

My electron card isn't accepted is some online stores, also a bit nerves about using it in case something happens, as it's the only money we have.

  • I used to have a prepay gold mastercard BUT it charges 4.95 per month to have the card plus load up fees. So my OR said if it cost me money I could'nt keep it.

Yeah i have the virgin mastercard with has no monthly fee and a low 2.9% charge so less than 30p for £10 on purchases which i dont think you can moan about when not paying a month fee. I loves it i do.

We got the Paypal once, it's handy if you're an ebayer, it costs nothing to transfer money from paypal to the card.

Personally i would not worry about this as it does not look like the government are going to let any bank go to the wall.

  • I have the paypal one, as was said previously great if you already got a paypal account as there is no charge to transfer the money onto it.

There was a one off charge of 4.95 and as long as you dont withdraw money on it and use only paypal to top it up there are no other fees (unless you lose the card or anything)
