Theres a few of these 'unopened' pressies up for grabs.
Could they be a total bargain, or a waste o money, perhaps some might even call it a scam.
Very ingenious though.

No bobadobado...it's NOT ingenious.
It relies on dim people being gullible enough to buy what is essentially a box.
No different to any other scam out there...i.e buying xbox boxes with no content.
They'll be sat there with boxes and paper..wait to see which nugget pays what price..i.e winning bid say £22...and put in a lousy item worth pennies...parcel it and post it. YOu've then got no comeback when you realise you've been had...since they sold you an unopened pressie and had no knowledge as to what was in it.
Do you really think people get so many presents they could afford to leave some unopened and sell them?????
Ask yourself...what would you do??...Maybe open it, ascertain its value..then sell it??!!
Mikeif i had known then what i know now0 -
i'm not sure a power seller with 100% would risk too much, but its a weird one ain't it?
there's a few i've seen on ebay, but for charity.0 -
It just doesn't compute, Mike
No one in their right mind would leave a present unopened and sell it.....they could lose a fortune..IF IT WERE GENUINE!!
I still believe I'm near the mark in my guesstimate as to what they're up to.
Powerseller or not...how could you leave a neg feedback if they told you it was an uponed present and could contain anything??
As for those generous souls who give it to charity..ahemm..rollseyes... again..open the blessed box and make sure the charity gets full value from the sale proceeds....
Again..just MHO...

i'm with you on that one. how can they know it's 'unwanted' without knowing themselves?
it doesn't add up at all as you said.0 -
Nothing new - we had mock auctions long before fleabay.0

I've just sent seller a question "how do you know its unwanted if you havent opened it. Wonder if i'll get a reply

I see that none of them are going for much. I think he would get more for it if he just opened it and listed it as it is.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

This auction is as exciting as buying snakeoil.I know nothing0

This item has ended ... winning bid £2.24. Is it too cynical to suggest that the seller has bought it herself under a different user name. There's no woman sicker than the woman who is sick on her day off !0
