  • Try this from microsoft , I believe this will remove any zlob infections.

  • Malwarebytes should have removed the zlob infection.

Did you run the online scan ?

It will help clear up anything left over.

It means that SOMEONE who uses your computer (Probably a teen ;)), has been doing something 'dodgy' on the net!

EVERY one of those so far has been MYWEBSEARCH (Notorious for dodgy videos)
I do have a couple of teens..what is it they are looking at just so i can stop them ?

I have looked at the odd vid on youtube ( nothing dodgy you understand:p ) but that was a good while ago and the teens haven't been on the computer since last weekend.

Is it connected that I recived an email from someone on facebook and it said 'view persons name private video' tried to view it ( nosy I know:o ) and that is when it all went haywire.

    Will run a full scan

    caught my brother as well...lol

see how it goes for a while , if you get more warnings then start malwarebytes again and update it , then do another quick scan to see if it finds anything

Dont worry about it. We all get tripped up occasionally

HOWEVER, you had MYWEBSEARCH which im convinced had nothing to do with the facebook virus. Its clearly been on a LONG time.

The program I posted on page 1 ~ 'SPYWARE BLASTER', should stop them from getting it infected again :)

  • I have run the online scan but now when I go to Start it doesn't do anything ( so don't know how I should log off!!) 3 threats have been found, but is there any other way I can get the scan results to notepad? not the start>>run way?
