Thank you
Am just preparing for a six hour drive tomorrow, taking porridge in a flask for when I get there and then sandwiches for way home and then a big bottle of water so no spends necessary. Just filled up with petrol but forgot to use the 5p off voucher, and the only reason I went to Mr T's was to use it DOH!!!
Wishing my ebay bids would start rolling in now! Hoping work and life will calm down soon so I can actually catch up with everyone.........Long haulers supporters DFW #109NR Loan #1 - £2951.18 Nov 08/0 -

Reporting for duty ma'am!!

Just packing all my ebay stuff up, made £133 this week and we have only put half on so really really pleased. The only problem is that DH wants to spend it on kids for a computer for xmas as theirs broke and I want to pay off a debt....so the negotiations begin.....
Been paid, budgeted absolutely everything possible and now we are on a budget.
Here goes........
I'm having a gym ball lesson on Thursday for my back - but they're better for bouncing on

That is a really good amount for ebay :T
Have you tried freecycle for a computer - there are often fairly decent ones on there that people are no longer using because they have just got a new laptop or whatever.....Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Ooooh how naughty am I being away for so long!
Despite my absence I have been good. We got through Xmas without increasing debt and DH is definately on board. We are both filling in spending diaries and encouraging each other.
Bad week in that I have added up what we have spent and it is far too much  but it was on kids shoes, hair cuts for all of us, waxing (say no more), train fares, coal - it's amazing how it mounts up. Hoping this will mean we won't have to spend much next week now!
My debt is still far too high but we do manage to overpay every month and we are both committed to the prospect of being mortgage and CC/loan free within 9 years with a lot of commitment.
So a positive start to the New Year. Car insured and taxed for 12 months paid up to date. Mobile phone contract is up next month so going to look around for a better deal. Wanted to go with Virgin for the whole package but we can't get cable here yet
I'm updating my online spending diary every week from my paper spending diary so I can see where everything is going and it's amazing how much we spend on the kids. I think it's also opening DH';s eyes to the fact that the pennies add up and he spends more than he thinks.
Off for a run now  can't be bothered really but needs must and all that!Long haulers supporters DFW #109NR Loan #1 - £2951.18 Nov 08/0 -
