Accepting Credit card payments post BR

Hi,
90 % of my customers pay by credit/dedit cards, for which I had a Merchant account to be able to process these payments. Will I be able to continue with a Merchant account post BR (BR 24 Sept 08).
Currently my customer card payments are being held in a suspense account by NatWest Streamline, as my previous trading bank account was closed once BR.
Are they likely to allow payments into a personal account such as Barclays Cash Card account or Co-ops Cashminder.
Anybody with experience of trading whilst BR and being able to accept card payments from their customers ?
Any comments would be most welcome

Streamline closed my account when I went bankrupt so I switched to Paypal Pro for all my websites. The customer can either choose to pay with their Paypal account if they have one or Paypal will process their CC/DC on your site without them leaving and being sent to Paypals', just like a regular merchant account.
I had Streamline with Protx and my sales went up a lot post BR because it seems customers don't like being directed away from your site to enter card details.
Paypal Pro is a new type of account meant to replace things like Streamline etc and you can take telephone payments too.
Hope that helps.0 -
I applied to Paypal nearly 5 days ago, but so far I've had no reply. How long did it take you to get accepted and for the system tobe set up. Thanks.0

I don't know about an ordinary account as I've had mine for about 8 years but the Paypal Pro Merchant account took about 10-14 days to set up fully although there was a delay on my part waiting for the new post-BR business account to get set up with the bank.0
