Argh! Love film DVDs lost again

Hi guys, sorry if this is in the wrong place but I wasn't sure where to post.

Basically I've been with love film since April and for the second time my DVDs haven't turned up. Will they let me cancel my subscription or will I have to pay for the Dvds that have gone missing? Ironically one of the dvds that has gone missing is the same as one that went missing last time. I'm just not meant to see this film! :rolleyes:

This happened to me but I put 2 dvds in the same envolope and sent back to them and strangely enough they managed to recieve the one but not the other,I told them they were in the same envolope but they wouldnt have it and still took money out of my account to pay for the loss of dvd,I cancelled as it was all doing my head in to much in the end.Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh god I really hope they don't make me pay. Both times they have gone lost when love film have sent the films out to me not me sending them back.

This has happened to me, I recieved a letter about canceling my account which I requested and it said to return any DVD'S at home. I did this but now have a debt collecters letter for £20 so not sure what has happened. I have not had chance to sort it yet as I am going to book an appointment with citizens advice so might as well get them all sorted out at once.

May be a long shot, but a thought as just come to mind, you could argue that you only have thier word that the DVDS were sent, as they do not use a recorded delievery or proof of postage. May just be something to throw at them. x

I have been with Lovefilm\Tesco rental for years and have only even had 1 DVD go missing, I was never charged either?!?!

I would try to sort it with them before cancelling.

Did a 3 month trial with them, and lost 2 DVDs/Games in that time. I think they especially have them 'go missing' around the time that the trials end, so that you have to continue with paying to ensure things are sorted.

I'm still waiting to hear back from them re: the final DVD that went missing.

Considering cancelling my credit card - in my opinion they're either lying about it going missing, or not paying due dilligence to their customers by sending them out in packaging that pretty much screams "I'M A DVD, STEAL ME!!!" so it's no surprise they go missing.

We have had 2 dvds go missing in the 2 years we have been with lovefilm. They just sent out a form to fill in with details of where and when we posted it and that was it.
Have they sent you one to fill in? You have to send that form back within 10days or they will charge you.

ive been with lovefilm for about a year, they have only lost one of my returned films, the sent me out a loss form which i filled in. no other hassel

Hi guys thanks for the replies, the dvds actually turned up yesterday. I have no idea why they took 6 days to come but what a relief! I am definitely cancelling after I've watched these films.
