sure this is the wrong place to post sorry

im after one of these tv/dvd combis for xmas and they are so expensive

there is the odd code about, like argos and little woods direct etc

but my question is would this sort of item be cheaper in the after xmas sales or shall i just keep an eye out on prices up to week before xmas

any advice please

can i just say dont buy one! we have went through 4 in the space of a year as they overheat and die? we bought them from tesco last xmas and im fed up phoning and getting replacements, my SIL is exactly the same. they are only used for an hour or 2 at night so not over used or anything

i got my son the batman tv, that died within less than a year. when i took it back to woolworths they were selling 'reconditioned' batman tvs!!! I DIDNT REPLACE IT!!!

Just think for that price you'd be better to buy a tv that he wont grow out of??

We have a pink TV/DVD we bought from woolies 2 years for our daughter the DVD player has died, we are replacing it with a sony LCD. in fact we have had 3 tv combies and they had all died within 3 yrs, much better to buy a TV and a DVD player. Actually my kids use their PS2 for DVDs.
