PayPal Top Up Card

Hi,

I applied for a PayPal Top Up card earlier on & it went through ok. However, I'm left thinking I've made a big boo boo :cool: I already have a Visa Electron card so was really looking for a Visa card, as some places don't accept Electron online (Tesco, etc). Can anybody confirm that this is in fact a Visa Electron card? What popular stores/online places have accepted it?

I tried applying for an Extreme Cred card (Maestro) but it wouldn't let me complete the transaction, due to bank authorisation or something

Hi Sophie,

I've applied for one as well (thinking being that I'll only put on it exactly what I can afford to spend each month, instead of going overdrawn!). From all the blurb, it sounds as if it will be accepted wherever takes Visa, but won't know for sure until we try!

It says on there website its a visa debit card, so you can use it at places accepting visa. This card is not a visa electron card

I have one of these, and it just has the Visa logo on the front, no mention of Visa Debit or Visa Electron on the back. However, I noticed on the receipts with all transactions I do with the card show "Visa Electron".
