If you have a virgin credit card and the 0% is running out-can you take advantage of another 0% card withMBNA-or can I use another credit card that I have to pay off the balance and then take advantage of an offer they called me about-they asked if I wanted to tfr a balance and it would be interest free for another 12months. So I said I didn't but if I pay off the balance with my HSBC and then tfr it back-I would pay fees but save interest so what do you think.
Sorry if this confuses!!!!

You can have more than 1 MBNA card at a time, at one point I had 3, however, they did look at my limits overall, and when I opened the 3rd, they reduced the limits on the other 2.0

Yes, but acceptance & limit offered will depend on, amongst other things, the current Virgin balance and credit limit. You won't be able to BT directly between the two though, you'll have to SBT the MBNA limit to your current account and settle the Virgin card from there.Scousebird wrote: »If you have a virgin credit card and the 0% is running out-can you take advantage of another 0% card withMBNA
Yes, you could pay off Virgin with a BT to HSBC, and then bring it back to Virgin again for 0% for 12 months. However...-or can I use another credit card that I have to pay off the balance and then take advantage of an offer they called me about-they asked if I wanted to tfr a balance and it would be interest free for another 12months.
1. Will Virgin hold open the offer for you, or is a "take it or leave it NOW offer"? Ask them to put the offer on your account so you can see it online to be sure.
2. You'll probably pay two (circa 3%) BT fees with this approach. Makes the debt a little more expensive at around 6% APR...although still a good bit cheaper than standard rates.0 -
