We moved into our first house in Feb and it has a water meter. Despite not using much water our bills are around £40 a month which seems a lot for 2 people in a 2 bed house.
Anyway, can we move off a water meter and go to unmeasured or are we stuck as we have a meter?

You're stuck! We moved in in Feb and are paying £35 a month but that's six of us in a three bed house. Using 13 or 14 units a month on average.0

Are you actually using £40 a month or are you being charged that?
Check your bill against the meter reading.
I paid around £20 for 2 people.Lets get this straight. Say my house is worth £100K, it drops £20K and I complain but I should not complain when I actually pay £200K via a mortgage:rolleyes:0 -
you are paying too much..is it estimated? get the meter opened up and take your reading..we paid 15 a month in a 2 bed house now pay 22 a month in 3 bed ,still only 2 of us tho.TO FINISH LAST, FIRST YOU HAVE TO FINISH....0
