Ordered a 'bar butler' last week as a Christmas present online at alptech outdoors.
I received an e-mail yesterday saying that their website was faulty and that I should have been charged delivery of £8 as I live in Northern Ireland.
I replied saying that postage costs are the same to all of the UK and that I wanted the product at the advertised price
I received another e mail today saying that delivery charge was £15 because they use a courier service and not the post. I rang and explained that the website did not say this but they were adamant that I would have to pay this.
I told the customer service guy that I would be putting this bad experience onto moneysavingexpert.com but it didn't do any good.
Oh well have to trail into town now to see if I can find one of these somewhere.
