3 mobile rant

Several years ago I cancelled a 3 mobile contract....paid up did my contractual obligations etc etc.
They still charged me, threatened me with court and I paid money I did not owe....twice. They finally stopped after I threatened to sue them.
Now they are back and I realise that the only way out is to sue.
My questions are do I sue the debt collection agent or 3 mobile?
What procedure do I follow? I have never sued anyone in my life and hopefully never will again.
Has anyone had similar experiences?
Many thanks,
Danny
