Provident Finance, that rip-off loan shark is to close their Yes! Car Credit business next month.
It made a £24 million loss last year. GOOD!
Good riddance to bad rubbish.
It's a shame Provident aren't closing down altogether!!!

Great news.. I had a bad time with Provident and feel they are dispicable. So part of them are closing.. Hooray!!
Thanks for the good news iainkirk0 -
I just had to say YES!
Although it’s a shame for the employees, especially at this time of the year.0 -
I have heard some really bad stories about Yes car credit, A company like that could have worked so well without ripping off people with poor credit histories. I went to welcome car finance in the end. There APR is slighty higher than Yes but they seem to have a better reputation.
I know how hard it is to get a car with a bad credit history.0 -
Fantastic...what great news.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

Excellent news, that!
It's a shame that it didn't decide to just not exist to begin with...
Any links to your source so that we can all revel in the glory!! lol
"Part P" is not, and has never been, an accredited electrical qualification. It is a Building Regulation. No one can be "Part P qualified."

Thanks for the link
I liked this bit best, I think;Provident said tough competition and changes to the regulatory environment had changed trading conditions, and Yes had ceased to be profitable in 2004.

Fantastic! They really are the pits.
Provident just wrote to me offering me a loan for the christmas time, I ripped it up and mailed it back to them"I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -
Excellent!!!!
I feel sorry for some of the employees, the ones that are honest and do there job, but not for the ones that have ripped off and fleeced thousands of people who cant afford to get a car by any other means.Savings Total so far for 2023: £8,062.580 -
Are these the same people called "Welcome Finance"????
They do the same tricks and charge a wack in interest as well.0
