Bio-Polar and debt. HELP

I was wondering if anyone has got similar problems or some ideas for sorting my problem out. I have bi-polar and when i am high i run up loads of debts. So far i have run up and cleared my debts 3 times(£5,000 each time) i have now had another high and am back up to nearly £5,000 of debt. My family are in the dark because they think i have cleared them(i did but run them up again). When i am normal/depressed i put every spare penny into paying off my debts and i try so hard. I never default on a payment and never have ever. My credit rating is exerlant hence more credit offered. I have written to the credit referance agencies explaining my condition and ask that they put a note on my file explaining that i don't want or afford any more credit cards so can they not give me any. They refused to do this. So the cycle goes on. I am desperate to be debt free and to be able to stay debt free. Any ideas, or anyone in the same boat.

Hi scooby,
First of all, hi, and well done for trying to sort yourself out. Can I suggest you post this again on the Debt Free Wannabe board, they have a lot of people in the same boat dealing with mental health and debt, and are full of excellent advice.
Best of luck getting there!
