Lloyds Re-Finance Loan/Current Account

Back in 2004 Lloyds took my existing loan, credit card and overdraft and turned it into a re-finance loan. They recommended after i phoned them because i was getting charged £200 a month in bank charges and was stuck in a loop. I was only on a fraction of what i get paid now, so £200 was a lot.
What i did not know was when they did this, a re-finance loan puts a big mark against your account with them saying no more finance, so no Overdraft, No Gold account, No Credit Card with them.
I'm about to pay off whats left of that re-fiance loan. Does anybody know if as soon as its paid Lloyds will allow me to have services like an overdraft again, or is it a case of wait 6 months to allow your account to get a better score? I put almost £2500 a month into my current account, so its being funded well, its just that silly re-fiance loan hindering me
