TESTANDVOTE - rip-off gits!!!!

Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but https://www.testandvote.com have increased their points criteria without any kind of warning e-mail or message.

The limit before was 20,000 points for an Amazon voucher which as most people on here who are members will know, takes a while to accumilate when they usually only send surveys worth 3000 points. Well the limit has now been increased to 40,000 points!!!!!!

Not sure if anyone else feels the same as me but I've sent them a message using their 'contact us' service saying that I feel the points increase is unfair and will no doubt ultimatly result in them losing survey participants.

Had a go at them myself. Also asked about my missing survey points and they claimed that I never did the surveys. However, they did credit my missing points anyway. Have to earn another 10,000 points now though for my first voucher

Wow thats a bit bad doubling the points criteria! I'm a member with them. Its only a £5 voucher isnt it? They should have given pre-warning of this so that people could request thier voucher if they were at the 20,000 before they upped it I guess.

Im going to check my points if I havent got many I'll write and close my account and tell them the incentive wasnt great as it was now its even worse and I don't agree with doubling it without warning and giving people the choice of whether to cash them in or not before the rise

34115 points mmm well I'll get to 40000 then get the voucher and leave
    Thanx

I was just about to go crazy but I checked and I have 46,485 points anyway! Ordered a £10 amazon voucher just now - hopefully it won't take too long to turn up.

I don't know why they don't just send an e-voucher.

  • They seem to have got much better lately at paying quicker for surveys and sending out vouchers, but doubling the criteria is well annoying.
2p off is still 2p off!
  • Thanks for the info, I didn't even notice.

I've just converted my points to price draw entries, then I'll close my account after it's been drawn. I nearly had enough for a £5 voucher, It'll take forever to get £10, not worth the effort for me.

    Thanks,
    K

  • I have not had a problem with Test and vote so far having received £25 worth of vouchers this year. Yes they have changed the criteria but at the same time the voucher is now worth £10 instead of £5. I think it is alot more useful in these denominations especially when you combine it with free delivery that occasionally is on offer.
However, my sister has had no end of trouble with them. She completed several offers to the tune of about 15,000 points and received none of them.
Vouchers are only processed once a month so u can expect to wait upto 4 weeks for your evoucher to arrive.
It is worth perseveering with them as I have found it does pay off

  • ok - I might've jumped the gun a bit!! lol!!

The points criteria has been doubled but the reward has also doubled. It takes the !!!!!! coz it'll now take longer for people to reach their target, but as I complained, they sent me an e-mail explaining that they are now sending out more surveys more regularly and they've credited me 10,000 **have fun points** (?!?!?) as a goodwill gesture so it might be worth everyone on here complaining if they've annoyed you too!! :)

Has anyone gotten to test any of their items? Not me...
it's taken me forever to get points as well, for some reason I can never get to complete a survey.
