Own up, will you be on Ebay Christmas Day ?

Last year I got my timing wrong and still had items listed over Christmas, but I was amazed that there were people bidding on Christmas Day. I just wondered whether everyone is bored by tea time and goes onto Ebay ?

I have now stopped listing, but after last year, I might just carry on through.

I used ebay last Christmas, there were actually people listing unwanted Christmas presents and I was beaten to a couple of rather nice BIN games and DVDs by seconds.

  • HI Soo,

Thanks for that, I never thought of buying on Ebay over Christmas. What a good idea - I hope we don't both want the same things ;)

Ebay was addictive last December, but more to do with the 'eBay Treasure Hunt' they had going on at the time. Spent most of the month stuck to the chair, trying to win some very good prizes (never did though, lol).

I remember pretending I had stomach ache after my dinner so i could log back on on xmas day ... how sad am I? lol.

It is a good idea to log on though for unwanted pressies ... especially ones of those who have got a new computer and want to try ebay for the first time ... with little clue on how to use it, there are some real bargains to be found.

Have a good one everyone !!!!!!

I hereby solemnly promise to try to resist!
    Stop looking for answers....
The most you can hope for are clues.....:)
  • That's one thing I did last year and vowed I'd never do it again - go on ebay when I've had one too many ( or twelve!), I ended up putting a bid of £80 or so for something when I only meant 8 ( I know now I can retract the bid)-thankfully I ended up winning it for not much more than I was willing to pay for it - DON'T DRINK AND EBAY !!!

Unfortunately, a lot of my stock is currently Xmas related, so yeah, I'll be there up to Christmas. And probably On Christmas Day. And after Christmas. And the New year. And... And... And...

Oh gawd, does it ever stop? _pale_
