You have been agreed in principle. I think natwest have 2 stage credit scoring.

    Nuns! Nuns! Reverse!

'I do my job, do you do yours?'

  • so do you think they have credit checked ? do they use an internal rating? i've never been over drawn or nowt like that so i hope they give me a full current account with a servicecard.
  • Call them up. I called today to ask if they would upgrade my step account - Ive had it for 2 years and had been turned down 3 or 4 times in the past. They went through everything on the phone including the credit check and upgraded me at last ! (I was quite surprised as my credit history isnt good - is getting better but still have avery low score - I explained this to the guy who did my appilcation and he said that credit scoring was only part of the process, conduct of exisiting acct would alsobe taken into account)
    Good Luck !

Oh this is what happened to me. I went in the branch to open my student account and it didn't open straightaway. She said it needed to be sent off to Bolton, and I thought it was going to open because it said that they were pleased to offer me an overdraft of £1250. When she printed of the form it had an initialism of 'BC' on it so I thought that meant 'Bad Credit' which is why it needed to be sent off. It took a while to open, and I only recieved my servicecard and chequebook yesterday after collecting it from the branch, and if I needed to get cash out before that I had to do a counter withdrawal with my passport.
