New boiler - any ideas????

Hi all,

I live in London and my boiler has just died! I need to replace it but want to use a reputable installer etc. Does anyone know of a reliable plumber who does boilers?

I used one of the registered local installers from the CORGI website. You could maybe have a look there first. But is there anyone in your area you know who has used and can recommend someone?

Recommendation is the best way of finding someone. Failing that, or in compliment to it, try these databases:

That's a fair point, membership of a trade association or professional body will only guarantee certain things. However, all gas work must be carried out by a Corgi registered person, but this won't guarantee that their pipe work will be neat, that they will turn up on time etc, and doesn't always guarantee that the job will be completed safely. It will mean they will be far more accountable should you have a complaint against their work to Corgi on grounds of gas safety.
