Hi,

I am coming back to London ( live in Charlton) on Sunday from the South West and trying to get cheapest way back as funnily enough as extra poor at the moment like most people!

Have got St Germans to Charlton for £28 with First Great Western but was wondering if anyone knew of anyway/where I could break the journey to shave a bit off; I tried St Germans to Hontion (£9.40) then Honiton to Charlton (£24) so obviously that didn't work!

Even cashback or discount codes tips would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

You can change at Exeter and get a SWT to Waterloo (is this why you chose to break the journey at Honiton?). You can get very cheap fares for this via Megatrain. From Waterloo East you can get a train directly to Charlton with no need to use the tube.
