Life Assurance help please

Hubby had a stroke a couple of years ago but is now back at work. We need to get ourselves Life Assurance. The Norwich Union have already turned us down. Does anyone have any suggestions of where to go for Life Assurance if someone has already suffered a critical life illness?

See an IFA and get them to contact the underwriters to see who will take it or not and on what terms. If none, then there are specialist policies to take on high risk cases but expect to pay big time for it.
When you say couple of years ago, that suggests 2 years and that may be far too early for a mainstream life policy provider.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). I did mean two years. I think I'll probably have to wait another three years before I manage to get affordable LA.
