If the worst happens to B+B and it folds, how long till my cash is refunded? I have got 26 direct debits coming out this account per month so not so easy to close as others, the maximum which is ever in the account is 2k so it,s covered.I,ve set up a Yorkshire BS cashcard account to replace it,B+B,s demise is ahead of schedule !
I have a deep burning indifference

I'm not too sure what your concern is here. What do you mean about cash being refunded? Whatever happens to Bradford and Bingley, your account will continue to exist. It will just be transferred to whoever buys the bank (looks like the government is buying it). There's no need to panic and switch your direct debits over to a different account or anything.0 -
Its a question which was posed on sat morning, it looks like Nationalisation now, however I would imagine if a bank was to go bankrupt,it would cease to exist,if the Bank of Scotland had went bankrupt last week i wouldnt have accepted it,s banknotes in my change as it would technically be worthless.
I,ve set up a replacement account in case of the worst case scenario,as my wages would have to go somewhere.
As they are talking about selling the investment and savings part to the Abbey bank, the Yorkshire BS will be getting my wages and direct debits as I would rather give money away than let that bunch of idiots near itI have a deep burning indifference0
