Taking current contract mobile number to payt
HI
I have decided it is time to stop using my contract and start using payg. Thus saving money. Is their a way to take my current number (which i hae had for a few years so loads of people know it) from my Vodafone contract and using it on an o2 PAYG.
Any advice appreciated
Thanks
Glenn

Yes it is.
You need to contact Vodafone support and request a PAC code (Porting Authorization Code). Then get an O2 sim and email o2 with it plus the serial number of your sim (19 digit number on the back of it) and the phone number currently attached to the sim.
Also, if you are planning on using your current phone then check it is unlocked and will accept an O2 sim (just try putting a friend or family member's sim (from any network except vodafone) in it and see if it works).0 -
Thanks very much for your help. If i knew it was that easy i would have done it ages ago.0
