Hi, im a student about to move into privately rented accommodation with 5 friends. Normally i would expect to get an individual policy for my room but i have found out that we do not have locks on our bedroom doors, so can we get a multiple named policy for the entire flat and split the cost between us 6??

Have a look at various insurance company websites :)

TBH I think you'l find it easiest to just get single insurance as it can be had for around 50 quid with Endsleigh and dont think you'd get a policy for 200 quid jointly...but I'm just guessing.

Most student website sdont seem to offer a joint policy but maybe other insurers will?
