Dollar account queries

Hi,
I have read on here forums regarding dollar accounts which can be opened through UK banks. The account that I have in mind is the Citibank one as I have over £2000 worth of dollars .... unless someone can recommend an alternative.
My queries are as follows:
1. Do they allow transfers to sterling accounts (just like a standard CHAPS transfer).
2. At some point in the future if I decide to close one of these accounts, can I have the money paid out to me in a sterling cheque?
3. Some of these accounts offer a card which can be used to draw cash when in the states. Can it also be used as a Debit card to pay for goods bought over the internet in dollars?
Thanks in advance but I have had a share payout in dollars and with the rate as it is, I'd rather put the money is a dollar account rather than just cash the cheques.
