Does anyone else have phrases like "bolted", "stable door" "horse" going through their heads?

What's he going to do? Get a mop and bucket?
  • Maybe a shovel, if he wants the fallout for his roses....

Right then, if he's going to "clean up" the system, the first thing for him to do is resign, then right a 2000 word essay on how sorry he is for being the "founder" of the calamity that has hit this country.

But he said he also had proposals to end "irresponsible behaviour" in the money markets to prevent similar problems happening in the future.

Right I blooming well hope so - this is looong overdue.

Go on sort it out Gordon.
I always wanted to be a procrastinator, never got round to it...
  • He will do naff all. As usual the plonker just responds to what people are reading in the newspapers.

    Papers: 'Fuel Up'
Gordon: 'I'll bring down cost of fuel'

    Papers: 'Food Up'
Gordon: 'I'll bring down cost of food'

    Papers: 'Financial Meltdown'
Gordon: ' I'll fix financial meltdown'

Only problem is he never fixes anything and never will, because its all largely outside of his control, or requires lots of money he doesn't have. Its all pure spin to show he's "getting on with the job".

He had 10 years as Chancellor to 'clean up the city'. He didn't. But now he thinks it's what people want to hear

What a waste of a good white skin that man is.
  • Do you think this will also include limits on mortgage borrowing, to help safeguard people from financial troubles?
