Problems with Wireless phones & Bt home hub 2.0?

At the end of August we received our new BT Hub broadband and phone option 3 package, which would enable us to have our existing telephone number which is ex directory and the new internet number for my business use , then my wife discovered that when she installed the Hub she was unable to dial out on the existing landline.
This was a bit concerning as our phone is a BT studio wireless phone, we contacted the customer service dept and they tried to suggest that it was a problem with the telephone cable entering our property, they eventually sent out an egineer, he informed us that there wasn't a problem with the line or the exchange but there was an incompactability between the new Hub and our existing BT wireless phone????
We couldn't believe it!!! our phone was only six months old, when we ordered the system through BT Broadband sales dept, there was no much about incompactability, so after seven hours on the phone speakng to different BT depts ranging from customer service, phone rental dept, broadband, sales, techincal help desk and back all the way through them again and then finally ending up at the sales department, i finally cracked and vented my anger and threaten them due to their misselling of their product to me and not informing us THAT THERE MAYBE A PROBLEM WITH EXISTING WIRELESS HANDSET AND THEIR NEW HUB!!!
also I threaten to inform the MSE's website and the five million viewers & the forums, that they eventually agreed to send us a free replacement phone, which was a BT synergy wireless & answer phone with three handsets.
As soon as we installed the new wireless phone they worked perfectly together.
So if you have a wireless phone beware!! or give them S--T and get a free upgraded wireless phone as we did.:D

I have an early BT Home Hub (the white one) and I have a problem with my Panasonic cordless phone dropping the connection when I make a call (or receive).
It is very annoying as I now use my network for making calls and gaming.
Anyone suggest something I can do?0 -
no suggestions but i have prob with my bt aqua and the home hub. if my phone goes, the wireless bb cuts out and there is interference on the ine. i can only use the cordless phone properly if i switch off the home hub at the wall. bit disapointed in bt making all their equipment incompatible.Proud to be Member of BSC #92Hoping to get debt free again :wall::heart2: working hard to make my daughters proud :heart2:0

We can't use ours at all.We either get one of several things happening. We can hear the people on the other end but they can't hear us or vice versa.
Also the connection just cuts off after about 20 seconds and the line goes dead. It's just totally useless.0 -
I have the older white BT Home hub. It's been replaced once already because it was faulty and now the phone light has gone orange and won't go green. Luckily, we don't use a phone through it."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0
