Lloyds withdrawal question

Hi,

I'm sure many of you can help on this but i just can't find the answer anywhere or its that obvious that the answer is a simple one.

Would i be able to go into my local Lloyds branch and withdraw £900 in cash or do i need to tell them beforehand.

Thanks

I have withdrawn more than that from Lloyds in a single transaction. It was from a branch that I used regularly, therefore they knew me. If it was not a branch that I regularly used then I would take some ID with me, just to be on the safe side.
  • If you can give sufficient notice, I would ring up and inform them anyway.
    Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries
  • I have withdrawn £1K simply by producing my debit card and entering the PIN in the counter card reader.

LittleVoice is right. You can withdraw several £1k from the counter with just a debit card + pin and no ID or notice.
  • went into my branch of lloyds with my debit card wanting to take out £2000 but was informed it would be a problem as they didnt have a copy of my signature on record! I kicked up a bit of a stink saying (dont let martin read this bit) that i had been a member for 25 years and why the hell dont they have my signature on record!!...they gave me the money:cool:

They never asked to see my card, I simply put the card in the reader (my side of the counter, of course) and put in PIN along with the amount of money I wanted. Then the cashier gave me the notes. No need to see a signature.
