list of email addresses for honda dealers....

Hi all,

i'd like to send a generic email to all Honda dealers in the UK to see if any can match the price of a car i've seen online. Short of finding each showroom and copying/ pasting my question, does anyone know where i can find a complete list of all email addresses of UK Honda dealers so i can just send one mass email?

any help is much appreciated!

I'm sure there is a website where you can list your details and the dealers send you offers of how low they will go.

I had a fab deal from Crowne dealership in Soham recently worth giving them a try.

I am in no way connected with the company.

    Debtor,

Why not use car brokers like Deal Drivers, Drive the Deal, Jam Jar, etc?

Sometimes being a private punter on a mission still won't get you the level of discount that some of these firms can get.

As an example my friend went into his local Vauxhall dealer to buy an Astra. He walked in with a printout from Drive the Deal. The salesman calculated some stuff and gave him the best price which was still about £900 more than Drive the Deal. So he ordered through Drive the Deal.

Drive the Deal emailed him saying that their supplying dealer was........... his local dealer! And the same salesman did the handover.

You specifically won't find this listed anywhere to stop people doing exactly what you are trying to do. Imagine if everyone started doing that, the dealer would never have time to deal with showroom customers as they'd be replying to emails all day.

You would have two or three hundred people running around, all for nothing. That aside, they would ask you to come to the dealership to see what they could do on price, that way if you were serious you would, and the 99.9% of time wasters they'd never hear from again.

    Hi all,
    thanks for your posts...
flang- thanks for that list, i will start googling!
harveybobbles- do you have a website that i can visit or any way of getting a quote??
vikingaero- nice little story! thanks for taht example, i will use some of the companies you mentioned to see what they can offer.
roadhog- you make a good point. i wasn't expecting an 'official' honda list of email addresses, i just thought that someone somewhere may've done what i am doing and listed them all out!!
    thanks again to you all
  • Debtor, you also need to bear in mind that YOU need to understand how an online price has been achieved before you start asking franchised dealers to match it. The vast majority of online prices are achieved using spurious registration or payment methods, so asking a main dealer to do that too is simply not realistic..and certainly not fair...and you won't get the response you are expecting.

There are a handful of brokers who simply act as deal-breakers (ourselves and others have already been mentioned), who simply as as the go-between...between you and and a normal main dealer. So you simply get put in touch with a normal Honda dealer anyway to order your car, but based on the discount a broker has got by feeding many orders into one dealer..rather than you asking a salesman to try and match a simialr price when you are only offering the sale of a single car.

So yes, we might even be using your own dealer as the supply route..it can happen on occasions!

It's just a numbers game...but the questions you need to ask are all around how a car price has been achieved, who it will be registered to, who you pay etc. It is not just a case of comparing online prices...you need to undersatnd the conditions of sale and ownership too. That's where a good broker can really help you, and still allow you to buy direct from a main dealer....and you avoid the agonies and effort of trying to do it the way you are intending.

thanks for that insight dealdrivers...i've got a quote from your website and it does look promising. It's not the cheapest, but once i look into the things you mention in your post, it may turn out to be the best!

I would try the dealership in Bristol, I know people working there and they keep going on about how much cheaper they are than everyone else in the country - could be just blowing their own horns but worth a try -www.bristolhonda.co.uk

Can someone report/ban the spammer pls.
