We had our floor relayed on wednesday and the men pulled out all the appliances to do it, since they have put them back we have a horrid musty smell coming through and can't get rid of it..i have so far put vinegar and bicarb down the kitchen sink but have a feeling it is the washing machine..any ideas please?
It is a very new house so has to be something recent to do with those things!

Ok i have come to the conclusion that it is something to do with the pipes as for a year of living here we have smelt nothing and since the men disconnected it on wed it has smelt, which is the waste pipe i have read about and how do i check if it is right or not? looking in the cupboard there is a grey pipe coming from the washing amchine into the pipe under the sink where the water drains..is this it? many thanks0

In that case you should get more help from the experts on the In My Home board so I'll move your thread over there.
