"£50 off when spend £100" with Harrods loyalty card

That's what it says in the mailshot but is this really the case or do you just get £50 worth of points and have to spend £500 or more in a year. In which case £500 of points only equates to £5 when the points are converted into cash.

Anyone else had this mailshot in the last week and worked out what it really means?

thanks

  • I've not had this mailshot. For us the bonus of the Harrod's loyalty card is getting to Green Plus or above and then abusing the free tea or coffee in their nice caf!s for a year. The cashback is nice but not the deal clinchers. However if we have to buy something from Louis Vuitton or Tiffany then we will go there for the points.

i second the above,I tend to buy everything there including my weekly shop and cat food etc.
  • I'm unlikely to buy a set of Luis Vuitton luggage anywhere but getting some Xmas presents at 1/2 price (if I spent just over £100) would be great.

May have to call and find out whether it's points or money-off or prizes. Until then it is placed on top of my Homebase card in my wallet to impress the laydeez
