Aquacycle washing machine - LEAKING!

Been looking through old posts to see if there are any clues about investigating a leaking washing machine. I have a Zanussi Aquacycle 1050 washing machine which has developed a leak. My floors have never been so clean! :rotfl:

I've pulled the machine out to check that the waste water pipe is still in place which it is, but haven't found the source of the problem. I had a look inside the machine (where the washing goes) at the seal, and I think it's okay. Doesn't look like it's rotting out anywhere.

I've asked my man who is not keen on looking at the machine at all (last one he looked at caught fire apparently!) So, I'm gonna dive in and have a go myself :eek: . Is there anyone who could give me some pointers as this is the first DIY attempt....

ANY help would be gratefully received.

My experience with a leaking seal is that the water ran down the front of the machine so it was pretty apparent where it was coming from - not sure if that's helpful but I'd guess you could exclude a seal problem?

Mine does this from underneath. There was a coin stuck in the outlet pipe!

Check the filter. It that's clogged up, could well be seeping out from there...
