There are currently a load of deals on just now on the Dodge Nitro 3.7 Petrol from about £138 + VAT via 3 + 23 months deal. Obviously not selling but who cares you don't own it.
Thanks Hintza. I keep checking this board hoping someone will have spotted a good leasing deal .. am keeping an eye out for something a bit more economical thoughDealDrivers wrote: »notably among the better deals have been Honda (Civics especially)
Is that the Type R or other Civics? The Type R seems to be better value to lease than the rest of the range - maybe because of better residuals?.0 -

I couldn't find any on http://www.contracthireandleasing.com that didn't require a big deposit (£1k-£2k). e.g. (inc VAT):
Citroen C1 1.0 Vibe £1175+23 (6000 miles per annum) = £95.16pm
Smart FourTwo 1.0 Pure £855+23 (6000 miles per annum) = £95.18pm
Chevrolet Matiz 1.0 SE+ £599+23 = £99.88pm
Fiat Grande Punto 1.2 Active £2350+23 = £62.28pm
Fiat 500 1.2 Pop £1997+35 = £98.70pm
If you work out the overall cost over the period of the lease, sometimes it's cheaper to pay a bigger deposit and sometimes it's not. However don't forget to factor in the lost interest on the deposit over the length of the lease..0 -

Are the per month figures additional to the deposit or the 'actual overall per month charge' mentioned in the posts?
Anyone know the actual cheapest 24 month total/per month including everything?I think....0 -

But feel free, if all that's important to you is to own something 'new'.
As the title said you will either love it or hate it, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think you will find that the ride quality is OK but as vikingaero pointed out there will not be much in it with supposed better quality european and japanese makes and at the end of the day you only have it for a year or two and you get something else.
I for one would much prefer to drive around in a warrantied slightly less refined car than an out of warranty 3 year old "quality brand" which is what you can do for the price.
As for the cars Dan29 has quoted on you have to be more assiduous with your sums to figure out whether the lease is actually offerinfg a better deal tahn outright purchase or say a PCP deal.
On leases you tend to get the very best deals on larger slightly unpopular vehicles.0 -
To be fair, although this particular car doesnt get great write ups in the motoring press, £175 a month is an absolute steal to drive ANY new car, never mind one that has a list price of over £20k. The fuel economy wouldnt even bother me at this price, especially seeing as you would be limited to 10k miles per annum. Thanks to the original poster for putting this up, I'm tempted to get it now even though I just got a car 6 months ago!!0

:rotfl: The 2.8 diesel is £260 +VAT. You can buy a lot of fuel for the difference.0 -
