Stinky Dog

Hello all !!

We have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and she gets so excited all the time she sweats a lot and gets real stinky !! We have tried various champoo's on her but she just seems to smell worse. I did find some dog deoderant but its over £4 a can so not cheap.

Has anyone got any old fashioned ideas about this ? I have diluted Tea Tree and sprayed her with this but it didnt help. I'm all for the oils but can't figure out which one would be safe on her and sort the problem.

Is she quite a nervous dog? Is there something that can be done to calm her down? If she's just high as a kite giddy like my dog was, then all that can be done to my knowledge is develop a tolerance to the whiff! Sorry it's not very helpful...

 dogs don't really sweat (OK, just a bit, through their paws) ... they pant instead. What does your dog smell of?
    Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac ;)
