I saw 'We will rock you' the Queen musical a few weeks ago and would recommend it. Got my tickets for half price at the Leicester Square Half price ticket booth.

Chicago is brilliant - saw it earlier this year and would love to see it again. I also got tickets from the booth in Leicester Square, 4 rows from the front £45 for 2 instead of £45 each. Mamma Mia is also good

Blood Brothers was the best by far of all the musicals I've been to see. To be fair, they're all good except the King and I - that was truly boring and the four of us left at the interval. The tickets were free for a reason!

Don't pay top wack prices like you quoted unless there is something there you really really want to see.

Blue Man Group opens at the New London Theatre on 10 November. I was lucky enough to attend a special preview earlier this week, and it was fantastic! Tickets aren't cheap (£40 is the standard price) but students/young people under 26 get tickets for £20, or otherwise you can get tickets for the first two rows for £20 on the day (the front rows are in the 'Poncho Zone', but sat in row 2 in Berlin with no problems).

It's a great show, very hard to describe, mixture of music, art, comedy and other crazy things! Have now seen BMG twice and plan to go again soon!

More info - http://www.bluemangroup.co.uk (for UK details) or http://www.blueman.com has video clips, etc.

I'd recommend The Producers. One of the funniest shows I've ever seen.

Mary Poppins was absolutely fantastic - I'm in my 20s and OH is 30.

Also, Les Miserables and Blood Brothers. Both magnificent in completely different ways.
