Now in its 10th year, the Abergavenny Food Festival is one of the most exciting celebrations of British food. To celebrate The Observer’s sponsorship of the festival’s official debate we’re offering one winner and a friend tickets to the festival, combined with a fantastic weekend stay at the Gliffaes Country House Hotel. Six runners–up will each win tickets to the festival. To be in with a chance of winning just complete the form below, check the terms and conditions and submit.

1. The closing date is Thursday 11 September.
2. There is one prize consisting of two nights’ bed and breakfast accommodation in a double room at the Gliffaes House Hotel on 19 and 20 September, 2008. Dinner on the Friday night is included. Entry tickets to the Abergavenny Food Festival on 20 and 21 September are also included.
3. Dates non–transferable and all travel and expenses (other than those listed above) will be the responsibility of the winner.
4. The free prize draw (the "Free Prize Draw") is open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over.
5. To enter the Free Prize Draw go to observerfoodmonthly.co.uk or send your name, address and number marked Abergavenny Competition, The Observer Marketing Dept, 119 Farringdon Road, London, EC1R 3ER.
6. The winner will be notified by phone or email by within 28 days of the closing date.
7. The Free Prize Draw is not open to employees or agencies of Guardian News & Media Limited ("GNM"), Abergavenny Food Festival, Gliffaes House Hotel, their group companies or their family members.
8. Entry into the Free Prize Draw is acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
9. Only one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
10. No responsibility is taken for entries which are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the Entry is not proof of receipt.
11. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. The prize is non–exchangeable, non–transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes. GNM accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the prize and not specifically included in the prize.
13. GNM retains the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar value in the event the original prize offered is not available due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
14. The winner may be required for promotional activity.
