capped rate for water meter

i wanted to share something i have discovered only this year although qualifying for some time i was reading small print on my water providers website and read about a capped rate available to vulnerable users. we had to have a water meter fitted but our charges are kept below what we would usually pay in rates (about £50p.a. cheaper) they do not tell you that you qualify you have to ask. well worth checking out!
