sorry no one has got back to you. has the housing associatn l done your gas hob for you
(are they paying) should they also be doing the oven also, if so it should have been done by now. Rng them in the morning and explain. The HAl probably think the job has been done if the gas man has reported that his job is finished. (if someone at the HA is not aware of the 2 different utilities)make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
A lot of built in single ovens can just be plugged into a 13 amp socket. If that is the case with yours then plug it in, put it in place, secure as per instructions (usually just 4 screws), and get the dinner cooking!0

Yes they did the hob and said they were going to do the oven. I bought the hob and oven on the understanding they would fit it. They left me last week-end with no cooking facilites at all but i let that one go as i was so grateful to be getting a new kitchen. I will endeavour to sort it out tomorrow, but was curious about the procedure of fitting an electric oven.“Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. There are two kinds of ovens. One plugs into a 13amp plug so is very easy to connect. The second type is more powerful (usually a double oven) and has to be 'hard wired' into a heavy duty power supply. the instruction book with your oven should say which type yours is.I'm Glad to be here... At my age I'm glad to be anywhere!!
