I have having a stressy time. the black bitumen wickes stuff my floor layer has said is a no go, so i am looking for an alternative. sealdeck 2 was mentioned, but i wonder whether there are other alternatives. I have those old marley tiles on the floor so need something to go over that.... any ideas from floorlayers?

Get the base right otherwise you're going to be forking out in the long run.
I've had to get my floor dug up as when the concrete was laid they put no damp proof membrane in and did a very poor job of the floor. Expensive but I want to get it right.0
