Homebase paper vouchers valid in Argos?

To any Argos staff or anyone else, I got my 2 x £10 vouchers today from a shed misprice with Homebase. The envelope was franked Argos and I know Argos are sister company.

Can these vouchers be used in Argos? They are browny in colour and have holograms etc. I know Argos do giftcards but they were sent from Argos.

Anyone shed any light? ( no pun intended!)

I work in the admin office at one of the Argos stores and I haven't seen any vouchers matching the description you have given come through the tills. Does it actually say 'Argos' on the vouchers, not just the envelope? Failing that i'd ring Argos customer services and ask, 0845 6403030.

thanks for that, no it does not say Argos on the voucher, but it was for an order which was going to be delivered by Argos and the payment had been taken from my account under argos so just wondered if they were interchangable.
