Gas or Electricity?!

Options
Hi everyone,

we are buying a house which has been unoccupied for a couple of years. A mains gas installation has been in place previously but the meter has been removed. We are wondering whether we should reinstall the gas supply (and use gas as well as electricity) or if we should have an electric boiler installed and just use electricity?

If anyone can advise, we'd be really grateful!

Thanks in advance,

Jecica.

Gas costs 1/4 the price of electricity. Electricity is good for lights and TV. Gas is good for heating.
Lets get this straight. Say my house is worth £100K, it drops £20K and I complain but I should not complain when I actually pay £200K via a mortgage:rolleyes:
