The National Football Museum is excellent, and well worth a visit. If you are in Preston anyway then don't miss it.

There are loads of historical exhibits, plus some quirky things too. And there are interactive things to keep the younger enthusiasts interested. It is certainly worth half a day.

It is important to check opening times. I seem to recall it is closed one day a week (Monday?) and of course you need to make sure it's not a match day. They do have a website: http://www.nationalfootballmuseum.com/

And the best thing about it? It's FREEEEEEEE!!!!
