voip and 1899.com

Hi,

I was wondering if someone can advise me on this:

I don't have a BT landline/number at the moment, but I am using Sipgate.co.uk on NTL Cable Broadband which gives me a free geographical (0161) number. I want to use 1899.com to make calls. I am unable to do this as the way Sipgate transmit the CLI (044161) conlicts with 1899.com so cannot use it this way.

Is there anyway of getting hold of 1899 old software client to make the calls from my computer? Are there any other cheap ways of using 1899.com? I don't want to use Voipcheap/sipdiscount etc as it requires top-up and the rates are not guaranteed.

Any advise appreciated.
