5 year date fast approaching

As I live in scotland I can only claim the flast five years worth of charges from my bank. The first charge that I received will be exactly five years come this october. As the banks have granted a further delay for six months what will happen to this charge? I have written to my bank several times trying to reclaim my charges, receiving the response that I have to wait until the end decision. Will this charge still be available to reclaim once the final decision has been made. I do class myself as being in financial diffculty though will this affect the amount of my claim if I go to court? what is the best course of action?

  • In Scotland I believe statute of limitations is 5 years. The charges will still be able to reclaimed if you have sent in your claim and it has been acknowledged.
Have you asked the bank to consider your claim as hardship?
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009
