I've just finished reading Martin's article on Christmas stamp savings
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cgi-bin/viewnews.cgi?newsid1105297979,47896,
Am I right in thinking that once the interst is earned on these stamp cards the stamps can be converted back to cash or do they have to be spent in store?
Because if they can be converted back to cash after the interest day whats stopping me purchasing 10K worth of Asda stamps with my new virgin card and then converting it back to cash back into my bank?
This would avoid the BT fee and give me a years instat interest?
Someone tell me I'm right

Well I was just at asda picking up my stooze free 6oz steak and asked the girl at the check out she did not really know but did say that she doubts the stamp value can be converted back.
Anyone care to confirm this? Checked thier website but no info on the stamp saver card.:money: IT Geek & Martin Wannabee :money:0 -

In his excellent article, Martin saysMore importantly, you’re now stuck spending all your Christmas savings with that specific supermarket too – effectively they’ve locked your custom in to make more profit.
so I don't think you can convert it back into cash. What would be in it for them ?Author of the first Stoozing FAQ on the Internet and Creator of the SOA & Snowball calculators at Lemonfool.co.uk0
