Another Tesco Clubcard question

I have quite a lot of clubcard vouchers which I have been saving up. I tried to buy a tesco table online and it said along the lines of :

" Error, Your clubcard vouchers have been reissued. Please see ref @@@"

I dont understand what has happened as I have not done anything to them or requested anything! Could someone help explain this?

Thank You

P.s please move thread if this is not where it should be.

    Hiya

I am about £3 short for a Merlin Annual Pass. Will I be able to still get it and pay the difference in cash ??? (even if that £3 is multiplied by 4x) ????

Oh no, sorry you won't. You have to have £27.50 in cc vouchers (£110 in Deals).

Even more bad news - the cost of the Merlin Annual Pass in Tesco cc vouchers is apparently going up in a week or so when the new Tesco Deals brochure goes out (early August). So if you wait for your next lot of cc vouchers you'll have to pay the higher cost I believe.

Not sure what the amount will be in cc vouchers yet, as Merlin Passes now cost £125 on the Merlin website but that's not divisible by 4.

P.S. I'm still quivering from the shock of seeing the lady in front of me pay about £30 in Tesco clubcard vouchers this evening. My 13 year old DD had to practically clamp her hand over my mouth to stop me from screaming 'oh no you could use them for Deals and get 4 x the value...'

I need to buy 4 of them, so could do 3 now, and then when I get my August statement, I'll have enough for the 4th, but is there anyway to get more ? - ebay or the like ?????

You could indeed buy 3 now - and I would do that this week if I were you while the price is still low on the Tesco site.

It was a Tesco Freetime staff member who told me they would be putting their price up on the Merlin Passes (I think they just missed it last time and had already issued the Deals Brochure for May showing £110 when the price went up on the Merlin site).

I think you would now struggle to get one of these on eBay unless you don't mind your 4th pass being issued in a stranger's name! These Deals now come with your surname on (they didn't used to until May). So you could buy cc vouchers on eBay this week and hope the seller can convert quickly enough to beat the price rise. But the Deal would then be in another surname and this is something they check at the Merlin Pass issuing outlets (they certainly did when I handed mine over last week at Thorpe Park). So you could pretend to be Mr Jones (or whatever) for the purpose of your annual pass I suppose...!

If not then wait until August and use your next lot of cc vouchers, the new price will only be a difference of a few pounds more in vouchers anyway.
