1) How do 3's retention offers compare with what's available by cashback from dealers?

2) Which is likely to get cashback quickest, refer yourself on e2save or a cashback site such as rpoints?

You can't beat cashback offers when compared to network promotions but there's always that risk involved with cashback deals. I got offered 3 months half price line rental on that new Sony Ericsson handset when I wanted to leave 3, when I said to the 3 guy that that was their normal network promotion he laughed and said "oh so you know about that eh" and then offered me 6 months half price line rental, cheeky git

Can't help you on that one but just as a side point, getting referral money from OSPS is next to impossible and very straightforward with Dialaphone...from my experience anyway.
