Trustcard credit card fees problem

in Credit cards
Hi, im hoping for some help, if anyone can advise.
My husband has a trustcard credit card which earlier this year changed to either an airmiles duo or mastercard.
He responded to the letter and selected the latter, in error they set up an airmiles card, he contacted them, they said use the airmiles one until we send you the mastercard one.
So at some point we have three credit cards on the go!!
In the mean time we made a couple of small purchases using the original credit card where we had that credit card registered (like amazon and paypal)
Anyway, we start getting statements with 'account adustment' on, when enquiring we are told that the balance of one credit card has been transfered to another etc and it will sort itself out.
We ALWAYS pay our CC bills in full, before the payment date and never incur interest.
Today we recieve a bill with a 'late payment' charge of £12 for a £7 and £23 none payment, I have checked and I have made both payments well before time.
It appears in both cases they have sent the bill and then moved the money we owe to one of the other credit cards each time, so by the time we pay the bill, it is no longer owed on that credit card, but in both payment cases there is no record of the recieved payments as 'credits' on our accounts.
Hope that makes sense, just wondered if this has happened to anyone else and if they have any advice please.
