I have filled in all my forms, but I can now rememeber I signed up for broadband three years ago with Orange, I got a broadband account, but it was never set up properly, I tried to instal it, kept having problems, rang them, they wouldnt fix it e.t.c I gave up. I got Talk Talk broad band but the need a MAC code, I rang orange, they gave me a Mac code and bill for a few hundred quid as I hadnt paid, I explained and they wouldnt listen. This was a year ago. Since I explained I have had no contact from them. I dont know account numbers e.t.c to add it to Bankcrupcy, but what if in a years time they start hasseling me for money... what do I do??

Give the OR as much info as you do have regarding the debt. By knowing the address and when it was taken out they may be able to get Orange to identify the account without the account number.
Debts are legally included in you bankruptcy whether or not you can provide the full details when you go BR. So if anything unexpected pops up in the future from before your bankruptcy, then you just need to let your OR know about it so they can deal with it.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

fermi is quite correct - I forgot to mention several debts in my bankruptcy - even at my OR meeting, I told the interviewer that I could not remember some of the debts and she told me not to worry as the onus would be on any creditor to contact the OR directly.
I did have a couple of creditors contact me after my bankruptcy - simply gave them my bankruptcy number and date and told them that I could no longer, legally, discuss any 'alleged debts' with them and that they should contact the Insolvency Service directly.

Hi pk although I believe that this particular area will be the same in Scotland, you should be aware that the laws on Bankruptcy (Sequestration) in Scotland do differ from those in the rest of the UK. Although they have, recently, changed to bring the bankruptcy period in line with England and Wales, there are still some fundamental differences, so it is definitely worth double checking.
For an overview of 'Sequestration' have a look at the following link:

If you have any specific queries, I suggest that you contact one of the Debt Counselling Charities, such as Scottish Debtline (CCCS) on:

There are some posters, on this board, who have been declared bankrupt in Scotland, and I am sure that they will, also, be able to answer your specific questions.
