recent construction booms had partly been "fuelled by cheap money and relatively inexpensive gas prices, and that dynamic has really changed."

    may be in a year or two when the builders are forced to flog them cheaply to recoved at least some of their investment, they can't hold on for long - they have far to much invested for it to just sit there
